Are pets allowed?
Sorry! We love your furry friends, but no pets are allowed at Stockton Place Cottage.
What should I bring?
Linens- bed sheets and pillow cases; Towels- for the bathroom and the beach; Toilet Paper and Paper towels (There will be some when you arrive – bring what’s needed for a week). Your favorite type of coffee or Keurig capsules. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap (some is provided to get you started).
Are all house rentals weekly?
No. Rentals are weekly May through September. Two and three day rental rates are available October through April. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years can be rented for a few days or the entire week.
Can you give me suggestions on where to eat and what to do in the area?
Yes! We have created a Welcome Guide with some of our favorite restaurants and things to do in Cape May. You’ll find the Welcome Guide binder in the living room. We’ve even included a few “local” tips.
Is the Kitchen fully stocked?
Yes. Dishes, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans are provided. The kitchen features an electric cooktop, double oven, microwave, traditional coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, and a Keurig. The refrigerator has filtered ice and a filtered water dispenser.
What is your cancellation policy?
Rental contracts are managed by Jersey Cape Realty and therefore subject to their cancellation policy: Tenants who must cancel a confirmed reservation for any reason must notify Jersey Cape Realty in writing stating the reason for cancellation. Any money paid (except the security deposit) will be forfeited unless the cancelled time period can be re-rented at no loss to the owner. A cancellation fee of 12% will be applied to all cancellations and booking fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. Tenants may want to consider travel insurance to protect their vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances.
